About Kier Associates

Formed in 1986, Kier Associates is a group of dedicated scientists with extensive knowledge and understanding of the inter-relationships of land and water use management and their impacts on aquatic ecosystems. Our services over the years have ranged from assisting local watershed groups to craft stream monitoring plans, to assisting Native Tribes set water quality standards for their reservation waters, to providing federal agencies with data management and analytical support for multi-state endangered species recovery planning.

Kier Associates has a history of providing innovative solutions for capturing and organizing data, particularly in support of Pacific salmon recovery, and for crafting analytical tools to support adaptive recovery management. While our most extensive work has been in California, we are proficient computer users and can provide quality customer service across the nation and internationally, at reasonable cost.

Kier Associates has recently received a $10 million Contractors Schedule award from the U.S. General Services Administration. This award provides federal agency clients, and others eligible to use the Schedule, the ability to easily reach Kier Associates for environmental planning and documentation services, including spatial (GIS) analysis. The GSA award process determined that Kier Associates is a well-established, highly-qualified consulting firm that offers government clients its “most favored customer” price for services.
